This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected
and used when you use the "Paduk service" to access "Paduk content".
This Privacy Policy applies to the Paduk Services throughout the world. PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY TO UNDERSTAND HOW WE HANDLE YOUR INFORMATION. THIS PRIVACY POLICY DOES NOT ADDRESS THE PRIVACY PRACTICES OF ANY THIRD PARTIES THAT WE DO NOT OWN, CONTROL, OR ARE AFFILIATED WITH. CAPITALIZED TERMS NOT DEFINED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY WILL HAVE THE MEANING STATED IN OUR TERMS OF USE. BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE PRIVACY POLICY AND THAT WE WILL COLLECT, AND USE YOUR INFORMATION AS SET FORTH BELOW.
The Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the course of operating the App, we will collect and/or receive the following types of information. You authorize us to collect and/or receive such information. You will be provided with granular consent options, allowing you to selectively agree or decline different types of data collection, including: 1. Personal Information Collection; 2. Geolocation Data; 3. Analytics Tracking; 4. Usage Information; 5. Third-Party Data Sharing. You can modify these consent preferences at any time through your account settings.
- Contact and account registration information:We only receive or collect information that identifies you personally
if you choose to provide such personally identifiable information to
us through various methods, including but not limited to: direct user
submission via signup forms, email communications, third-party login
APIs, and voluntary information sharing. The collection methods may
include web forms, mobile app interfaces, and direct user
interactions. The personal information we collect is used to provide
and improve our App services, facilitate user authentication,
communicate with you about your account, and enhance your user
experience. When you create your Paduk account, we collect your
contact information such as your first name, last name, email, date of
birth, your approximate geographic location and authentication
information for your login such as a password (collectively, the
"Personal Information"). We do not collect any Personal Information
from you when you use the App unless you provide us with the Personal
Information voluntarily. We process your Personal Information based on
your explicit consent, which you provide when voluntarily sharing
information with us. The legal basis for our data processing is the
user's consent, as well as the necessity of processing to provide the
services you request and to fulfill our contractual obligations.
Personal Information will be retained for a period of 7 years from the
last active use of the App, or until you request deletion of your
account. After this period, we will permanently delete or anonymize
your Personal Information to protect your privacy.
- Sensitive Personal Data:We do not actively collect sensitive personal data as defined by applicable privacy regulations. In the unlikely event that any sensitive personal data is inadvertently collected, we will implement additional protective measures, including immediate deletion and enhanced confidentiality protocols.
- Third-Party Log In:If you sign in through the App, you are authorizing us to collect, store, and use, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, any and all information that you agreed that App would provide to us through our Application Programming Interface (“API”). Such information may include, without limitation, your first and last name, username, profile picture, headline, unique identifier and access token, and email address.
- Payment and Purchase Information:Credit, debit or other payment card information and Information about
your subscription, purchases, or discounts. If you choose to make a
purchase or subscribe to a feature or service ours that requires a
fee, you will be required to provide us with your payment information,
including, without limitation, bank account numbers, credit card or
debit card numbers, account details, ACH information, and similar data
(collectively, "Payment Information"). Such Payment Information will
be collected and processed by our third-party payment vendors under
the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use,
and we do not obtain access to any Payment Information in connection
with such purchases or subscriptions.
- Geolocation Information:precise or coarse location (i.e., Information derived from device
information associated with your IP address, country code, or address)
for limited services and/or region-specific offerings. Certain
features and functionalities of the App are based on your location. In
order to provide these features and functionalities while you are
using your device, we may, with your consent, automatically collect
Geolocation Information from your device or wireless carrier and/or
certain third-party service providers (collectively, "Geolocation
Information"). Collection of such Geolocation Information occurs
only when the App is running on your device. You may decline to allow
us to collect such Geolocation Information, in which case we will
not be able to provide certain features or functionalities to you.
- Third-Party Analytics:We and the third-party technology providers, ad exchanges, ad networks, advertisers, agencies, ad exchanges, and ad servers with which we work use third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) to evaluate your use of the App, compile reports on activity, collect demographic data, analyze performance metrics, and collect and evaluate other information relating to the App and mobile and Internet usage. These third parties use cookies and other technologies to help analyze and provide us the data. You consent to the processing of data about you by these analytics providers in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Please be advised that if you opt out of any such service, you may not be able to use the full functionality of the App.
- Device and Other Technical Information:Information about your hardware, operating system, browser type, device type, and unique identifiers associated with your device, including IP address
- Usage and Viewing Information:Films, TV shows, and Documentaries that you view (including title and genre, watchlists you compile, and searches you conduct), webpages, including recordings of your interactions with our Services, which may include mouse clicks, mouse movements, keystrokes, and page scrolling. When you use our Service, you consent to the recording of your interactions with us.
- Other Information:In addition to the Personal Information, Payment Information, and Geolocational Information, we may automatically collect or receive additional information regarding you and your use of the App; your interactions with us and our advertising; and information regarding your computer and mobile devices used to access the App (collectively, the “Other Information”). Such Other Information may include:
- From You. Additional information about yourself that you voluntarily provide to us, such as your gender and your product and service preferences.
- From Your Activity. We may collect or receive information regarding:
- IP address, which may consist of a static or dynamic IP address and will sometimes point to a specific identifiable computer or mobile device;
- Browser type and language;
- Referring and exit pages and URLs;
- Date and time; and
- Details regarding your activity on the App, such as search queries and other performance and usage data.
- About Your Device. We may collect or receive information regarding:
- Type of device (mobile, tv, computer);
- Advertising Identifier (“IDFA” or “AdID”);
- Operating system and version (e.g., iOS, Android, TVOS or Windows);
- Carrier; and
- Network type (Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, LTE).
- From Cookies. We may use both session cookies, which expire once you close the App, and persistent cookies, which stay on your device until you delete them or for a maximum of 12 months, and other technologies to help us collect data and to enhance your experience with the App. Cookies are small text files an app can use to recognize a repeat visitor to the app. We may use cookies for various purposes, including to:
- Type of device (mobile, tv, computer);
- Personalize your experience;
- Analyze which portions of the App are visited and used most frequently; and
- Measure and optimize advertising and promotional effectiveness.
If you do not want us to deploy cookies in the App, you can opt out by setting your mobile device to reject cookies. You can still use the App if you choose to disable cookies, although your ability to use some of the features may be affected.
You will be presented with a clear consent mechanism upon first using the App, allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Consent will be obtained through a prominent cookie consent banner that provides clear information about cookie types and purposes, with an option to manage cookie preferences. We will notify you of any material changes to our cookie usage policy through a prominent in-app notification. You will have the opportunity to review and consent to the updated cookie practices.
Information Collected by Or Through Third-Party Advertising Companies
Paduk may share Other Information about your activity on the App with third parties for ad distribution and ad optimization (defined as the tailoring, targeting (i.e., behavioral, contextual, retargeting, analyzing, managing, reporting, and optimizing of ads)). These third parties may use cookies, pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear gifs), and/or other technologies to collect Other Information for such purposes. Pixel tags enable us and these third-party advertising companies to recognize a browser’s cookie when a browser visits the site on which the pixel tag is located in order to learn which advertisement brings a user to a given site. In addition, we may receive Other Information from advertisers and/or their service providers such as advertising identifiers, IP addresses, and post-conversion data.
How to Opt Out Of Third-Party Interest-Based Advertising

- Android Users: For Android devices with OS 2.2 and up and Google Play Services version 4.0 and up: Open your Google Settings app and Ads then Enable “Opt out of interest-based advertising.”
- iOS Users:
- For iOS 7 and up: Go to your Settings and select Privacy. Then select Advertising and enable the “Limit Ads Tracking” setting.
- For iOS 6: Go to your Settings, then General, then About, then Advertising, and enable the “Limit Ads Tracking” setting.
How Information Is Used and Shared?
Paduk uses your Information to provide you a better user experience and services and as permitted or required by law. (a) You authorize us to use the Personal Information, Payment Information, Geolocation Information, and the Other Information (collectively, the “Information”) to:
- (i) Provide and improve our App;
- (ii) Provide our services;
- (iii) Administer our promotional programs;
- (iv) Solicit your feedback; and
- (v) Inform you about our products and services.
- In order to provide our services and administer our promotional programs, we may share the Information with our third-party promotional and marketing partners, including, without limitation, businesses participating in our various programs.
- We engage third-party companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples may include providing technical assistance, customer service, marketing assistance, and administration of promotional programs. These other companies will have access to the Information only as necessary to perform their functions and to the extent permitted by law.
- Provide User Experience and Operate Our Business:We may use your Information to develop, operate, improve, maintain, analyze, measure, and report on your use of our Services. This could include troubleshooting, testing new features, improving design or usability of our Services, and personalizing and recommending content.
- Communications:We may send you communications, including by email, push notifications, about your subscription, your account, offers, contests, surveys, changes to policies, customer service inquiries, or to request feedback. We may also provide live support in response to your requests. We may record your comments, text, or voice communications for purposes of making features available, improving our services, and avoiding or addressing potential abuses of our Terms of Use or other concerns on behalf of our users.
- Advertising and Marketing:We may use your Information to model, segment, offer, market, and advertise our Services, including providing discounts or offerings from our affiliates, business partners, and select third parties. We may use your Information to provide and improve our advertising services, targeting, and measurement.
- Safety, Security, Fraud Prevention:We may use your Information to enhance the safety and security of our Services. We may also use it to verify your identity, monitor, investigate, and prevent fraud, and halt other unauthorized or illegal activity.
- Comply with Law and our Terms of Use:We may use your Information to comply with applicable law, such as to satisfy a tax obligation or government request. We may also use it to enforce, investigate, or report potential violations of our Terms of Use .
- With Your Consent:We may use your Information with your consent for other purposes described at the point of collection.
In order to provide our services and administer our promotional programs, we may share the Information with our third-party promotional and marketing partners, including, without limitation, businesses participating in our various programs.

This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share and/or license this aggregate data to our affiliates, agents, business, and promotional partners, and other third parties. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics to describe the App and these products and services to current and prospective business partners and investors and to other third parties for other lawful purposes. This aggregate information does not identify you personally.
Limitations on Sharing Your Information
We are committed to minimizing unnecessary data sharing. We do not sell your Personal Information. We will:
- Only share Information that is necessary for the specified purpose;
- Ensure third-parties adhere to strict data protection standards;
- Limit the scope of shared Information to what is legally permissible and essential;
- Retain the right to refuse data sharing that does not meet our privacy standards.
How to Opt Out of Sharing of Your Information?
You may opt out of the sharing of your Information at any time by accessing the Privacy Settings in your user account or by contacting our privacy team at info.help@paduk.net. Opting out may limit certain app functionalities. Detailed opt-out instructions will be provided in the App settings and on our website.
Data Retention
Paduk is committed to data minimization principles, retaining Personal Information only for the duration necessary to fulfill the specific purposes for which it was collected. We will delete or anonymize your Personal Information under the following conditions:
- (i) Upon your explicit request to delete your account;
- (ii) After a period of inactivity exceeding 24 months;
- (iii) When the purpose for which the Personal Information was collected has been fulfilled; or
- (iv) If required by applicable law or legal process
- Paduk maintain comprehensive records of all user consent interactions, including the date of initial consent, specific consents provided, and any subsequent modifications or withdrawals of consent. These records are securely stored and may be accessed by you upon request.
- We regularly review and update our data retention periods to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. These reviews are conducted periodically to assess the necessity of retaining collected information and to align our data management practices with current legal requirements.
Accessing and Modifying Information and Communication Preferences
If you have provided us any Personal Information, you have the right to access, remove, review, correct, and/or make changes to the same by contacting us as set forth below. In addition, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any of our marketing e-mails. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to the App (e.g., requests for support). We may also deliver notifications to your mobile device (e.g., push notifications). You can disable these notifications by deleting the relevant service or by changing the settings on your mobile device.
You have the right to request restriction of processing of your Personal Information under certain circumstances, including when you contest the accuracy of the data, when processing is unlawful, or when you object to processing. To request restriction, please contact us using the contact information provided below.
Data Portability
You have the right to request a copy of your Personal Information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. Upon request, we will provide your Personal Information in a format that allows you to easily transfer your data to another service provider, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Data Deletion
You may request deletion of any Personal Information by contacting Paduk as set forth in this policy. Should you request deletion, or upon meeting criteria for deletion as set forth in this policy, we will provide you with clear notification before deletion:
- (a) You will receive an email notification at least 30 days before scheduled data deletion
- (b) The notification will include:
- (i) Reason for deletion
- (ii) Date of planned deletion
- (iii) Option to retrieve or backup personal data; and
- (iv) Method to object to deletion if applicable
- (c) For account-initiated deletion requests, immediate confirmation will be sent
- (d) You can opt to receive additional reminders before final deletion
How We Protect Your Information
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect the Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. For international data transfers, we implement the following safeguards: (1) Encryption of data during transit, (2) Access controls and authentication mechanisms, (3) Regular security audits, and (4) Contractual obligations for data protection with our international partners. Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share such Information, nor can we guarantee that the Information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the internet. In particular, email sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.
Important Notices to Non-U.S. Residents.
The App and its servers are operated in the United States. We are committed to complying with applicable international data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD , and other relevant global privacy frameworks. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that your Information, including your Personal Information, may be transferred to, processed, maintained, and used on computers, servers, and systems located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to use the App, you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent to such transfer, processing, and use in the United States and elsewhere.
App Stores; External Websites
Your app store (e.g., iTunes or Google Play) may collect certain information in connection with your use of the App, such as Personal Information, Payment Information, Geolocational Information, and other usage-based data. We have no control over the collection of such information by a third-party app store, and any such collection or use will be subject to that third party’s applicable privacy policies. The App may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of these websites. As such, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those third-party websites. You should check the applicable third-party Privacy Policy and Terms of Use when visiting any other websites.
Children
We are committed to protecting the privacy of users of all ages. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We adhere to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and will not knowingly collect Personal Information from any child under the age of 13. We ask that minors (under the age of 13) not use the App. If a child under the age of 13 has provided us with Personal Information, a parent or guardian of that child may contact us and request that such information be deleted from our records.
Users under the age of 18 are not permitted to use our App without parental consent. During the registration process, users will be required to confirm their age, and those under 18 must provide verified parental consent before any Personal Information can be collected or processed. Parents or guardians can review, request deletion of, or withdraw consent for their child’s Personal Information at any time by contacting our privacy team. We do not share any Personal Information of users under the age of 18 provided with parental consent with third-parties except when necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
California Privacy Rights: Shine the Light Law
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with us may choose to opt out of our sharing their contact information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Right to Know About Sharing of Personal Data
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know whether their personal data is shared with third parties. Paduk is committed to transparency regarding the sharing of personal information. If you are a California resident, you may request the following information:
- The categories of personal information we have collected about you.
- The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected.
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting or sharing personal information.
- The categories of third parties with whom we share personal information.
- The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

request within 45 calendar days as required by law. If additional time
is needed, we will notify you and provide an explanation for the delay.
California Privacy Law: Do Not Track
We do not monitor, recognize, or honor any opt out or do not track mechanisms, including general web browser “Do Not Track” settings and/or signals.
California Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), provides California
residents rights to opt-out of “sale” and “sharing”. If you are a
resident of other US states that give you rights to opt out of “sale,"
“sharing” and/or use of personal information for “targeted advertising”,
you may also find this information helpful. Paduk’s use of personal
information to display Advertisements as part of an ad-supported
subscription plan and for Paduk’s marketing activities on third-party
services may constitute a “sale," “sharing” and/or “targeted
advertising” under the US State Privacy Laws. Please visit the Paduk

As of the date of this Privacy Statement, we may use certain categories of personal information to offer members an ad supported subscription plan or engage in Paduk marketing activities. Under the CCPA, these activities may be considered “selling” or “sharing.” If you do not want us to sell or share personal information about you, you can learn how to make applicable choices by contacting us at info.help@paduk.net.
We do not knowingly sell or share (as defined by the CCPA) the personal information of minors under 16 years of age.
Virginia Privacy Law
Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Virginia residents have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their Personal Information, as well as the right to opt out of the processing of their Personal Information for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling. To exercise these rights, you may submit a request as set forth below.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe that our processing of your Personal Information violates applicable data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The appropriate supervisory authority may depend on your location. Data Breach
We are committed to compliance with all applicable data protection regulations. In the event of a data breach, we will promptly notify relevant regulatory authorities within the timeframes mandated by applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to state and federal regulators. We will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovering the breach. Notification will be made through the contact methods provided by users during registration, or by email or in-app notification.
- (a) Our data breach notifications will comprehensively describe:
- (i) The nature and extent of the data breach
- (ii) Types of Information potentially compromised
- (iii) Potential risks and consequences of the breach
- (iv) Immediate steps we are taking to address the situation
- (v) Recommended actions for affected users. In a breach involving Payment Information, we will also coordinate without our payment processor to ensure comprehensive breach response and mitigation.
- (b) In the event of a data breach, we will take comprehensive steps to mitigate the impact and prevent future incidents:
- (i) Immediately investigate the source and extent of the breach
- (ii) Implement immediate technical measures to stop the breach
- (iii) Engage third-party cybersecurity experts to conduct a thorough review
- (iv) Update and patch any vulnerable systems
- (v) Enhance our security protocols and employee training
- (vi) Provide free credit monitoring services to affected users
- (vii) Conduct a comprehensive security audit to prevent similar incidents
- (c) If you receive a data breach notification, we recommend the following steps:
- (i) Carefully review the details of the breach
- (ii) Change passwords for your account and any linked services
- (iii) Monitor your financial statements and credit reports
- (iv) Consider placing a fraud alert on your credit files.

Notice to California Residents
- Notice at Collection:At or before the time of collection, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) requires that we provide a notice of our practices, including the categories of personal information collected, the purposes for which such information is collected or used, whether such information is “sold” or “shared”, and the criteria used to determine how long such information is retained. We have provided these details throughout the above section of the Privacy Statement.
- Additional categories of information listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) (“California Customer Records”) such as name, address, phone number, credit card or debit card number, and other payment details.
- Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law (“characteristics of protected classifications”) such as date of birth and gender if you subscribe to an ad supported subscription plan.
- Commercial information such as your purchase history and other products purchased or considered.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information (“internet activity information”) such as any information about your interactions with Paduk, our Service Providers, or Partners, including choices you have made when engaging with interactive titles, or search queries on the Paduk service. When you subscribe to an ad supported subscription plan we receive information provided by Advertising Companies (see definition above) such as information about your likely interests they have collected or inferred from your visits to other websites and apps.
- Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information:As described above, we do collect sensitive personal information such as your Paduk email, password, and payment details, which could be considered types of “sensitive personal information.” However, we use these types of sensitive personal information only for the purpose of providing our service; administering and operating our business; and other permitted purposes as described in the Privacy Statement and not for a purpose which would require offering a choice to limit its use under the CCPA.
- Right to Non Discrimination:You have a right not to be subject to discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your rights described under this section. We will not discriminate against you based on your exercise of any of your rights.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated at the top of this Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any such changes will be posted on the App. By accessing the App after we make any such changes to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes. Please be aware that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, our use of the Information is governed by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collect the Information. Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.
